What CrazyJobs does
Customers post a job, providers respond, and both sides negotiate in chat until the scope is real. Identity is verified through KYC before anyone is hired, so a booking is a booking rather than a hopeful message thread.
Payment is structured as milestones released on approval. Neither side carries the whole risk: the customer is not paying six weeks up front, and the provider is not working six weeks on a promise.
New providers with no review history are surfaced through low-risk starter jobs rather than buried — cold-start is solved with small work, not with obscurity.
